Prior to having kids, I was all about the Meal Prep.
I could spend all Saturday planning a menu for the week, grocery shopping, prepping and finishing the day with a fridge full of high protein, delicious meals for the week and a plan to stay on track.
Kids killed that for me.
The mental and physical load of having a kid while also working, trying to exercise, eat right, do laundry, make all the things happen was so much more than I expected. Most nights I would come home with my daughter, grab our dog and roll out the back door across the alley to the food carts where we would enjoy amazing food that I didn’t plan or cook.
However, while it is delicious, doing that 5-6 times a week started to have a toll on my body, my mental clarity and my pocket book.
Things had to change.
My professional career has been focused on building and improving systems and processes. I have this super power where I can picture an end result and map the steps it takes to get there.
It was time to apply my super powers to my health in the same way I applied it to business.
I sat down with easy healthy recipes I knew would make my weekdays easier, planned out my prep day, made my grocery list and committed 2 hours once a week to prepping meals. I applied the same strategies I use in my professional life to up-level the food in my life.
All of the sudden, a huge chunk of my stress and anxiety lifted.
I knew what the plan was, I knew what was in the fridge, we weren’t eating out every night and I was taking lunch with me to work.
Having a plan changed my day, which changed my year and my life.
Today, I share my weekly plans and the Meal Prep System with the world.

I’m a process-loving, coffee obsessed entrepreneur, mom of 2. Food systems came easy to me prior to having kids, but knocked me on my a$$ once tiny human #1 came into the picture. It took me a solid two years to start feeling like myself again and prioritize quality food to fuel my goals.
Today you can find me fine tuning the food in my life and using my systems to prioritize my current activities; soccer, boxing & skiing.
